Standing Order

If you set up a standing order, we do not have to pay any fees to a 3rd party. Setting up a standing order is really easy. You need to tell your bank to pay £1 per month (or more, we’re not fussy) into our bank account. Our details are as follows:

    Bank Name: The Co-operative Bank
    Account Name: Thousand 4 1000
    Sort Code: 08-92-99
    Account number: 65835171
    Reference: SO-YOURNAME

If you donate by standing order, we have no way of knowing that you’re supporting the project. It’s really useful to us to know how many people signed up, who you are and how much you are donating. So… could you please fill in the form below - you can also use this to agree that we can claim Gift Aid on your donations. We won’t share your details with anybody.

Text donation

Text HUMAN to 70085 to donate £5 a month. If you want to donate a different amount (£1 to £20), just add the number (eg HUMAN7 to donate £7).

This will cost you the amount of your donation each month, plus (to set it up) your mobile operator's standard charge for two texts - after sending the initial text, you will need to reply YES to agree to the recurring donation. The donation will be added to your phone bill every month. You can opt out at any time by sending a text. (If your mobile phone operator doesn't support shortcodes, this donation method won't work for you - sorry.)

You'll get a text asking you to agree to Gift Aid - if you're a UK taxpayer, please do follow the link and fill in your details, as we can reclaim 25% of your donations from the government if you do.

We pay a 5% fee to for this method of donation, so if you can use a standing order or direct debit, we would prefer that.
